Tips on Making Effective Marriage Proposals

One of the most romantic parts of courtship and dating is the time when proposals are made. This can be a risk to take but it can be very memorable especially with a mutually positive response from the other party. Here are some of the tips that will make an effective and successful proposal.

  • Discuss about marriage with your partner first before you propose.
  • Know what ring style of ring she would want to wear. This is what she would wear for the rest of her married life.
  • Be practical and sure. Have an insurance policy for the ring that you will give her.
  • Ask permission from the father of your future bride before you even do your thing.
  • Keep this a secret to surprise your partner. Trust people who can keep your secret and make sure that they don’t know all the details.
  • It has been a tradition and it is still effective. I’m talking about the chivalry on the knee proposal. It shows chivalry and respect.
  • Be creative in making your proposal where you can add something memorable such as background music, fireworks, etc…
  • Make a Plan B in case your Plan A backfires.
